ProblemS with runny glazes?

Some of the glazes that are the most fun to work with have a downside… They can be runny. In fact, two of my favourite glazes are. But if they are done right, it is possible to achieve fantastic results.

The Copper Green and White Shiny glazes (my faves!) can give good results if you layer them on top of each other in different ways. I’m hooked on these because they melt so nicely together with all other glazes I have tried layering them with. But, like I said, the downside that they are both very runny! So when using these, then glaze them extremly thin‼

To avoid problems, make sure to put a kiln cookie underneath your work while firing these glazes. 🍪 🔥 If you are new to using these glazes, then leave at least 2 cm / 1 inch of space at the bottom of your piece free of glaze. This is so that if the glaze runs, then it has a bit of wiggle room before fusing with the cookie. 😜

I buy these two glazes here:
