Achieve flawless results with brush-on glazes. When to use a brush-on glaze vs. a dipping glaze? Get to know the advantages (and disadvantages) of each first hand!

Glaze types & experimentation

Become versed in the various types of glazes, such as Celadon and Shino glazes, and be able to discuss their unique characteristics in this part of the course.

The starting point is on three great brands: Amaco glazes, Botz glazes, and Paint It glazes. For each, you will learn about different applications and techniques, alongside creative glaze design ideas. Additionally, you will engage in hands-on experimentation with glaze layering to better understand the interaction between different glazes.
